How to get started with Kollin
To activate the offer at Kollin, you just need to verify that you are a student member of Engineers of Sweden. Click on Activate Kollin and log in with mobile BankID.
To take advantage of the offer, you need to

- be in the first, second, or third year of your education
- create an account with Kollin.

About Kollin

FAQ about Kollin
- As a first-year student and student member of Engineers of Sweden, you get Kollin for free the current academic year.
- As a second- or third-year student, you get a 50 percent discount on all Kollin services.
- If you are studying in year 4 or 5 this offer doesn't apply.
A new offer will take effect starting from August 1. You can still activate the current offer until then.
If you are in your first year
If you are in your first year, you get Kollin for free. Your existing subscription period from activation date to July 31st 2026 is automatically refunded after you have been validated as eligible, and a new, free subscription will be activated until the end of the offer period.
If you are in your second or third year
If you are eligible for a 50 percent discount, the discount is applied to your future payments until the discount period ends. We ensure that you get 50 percent off for the entire period between activation date and offer end date.
After the offer period ends, your subscription will continue as usual. Make sure to cancel your subscription if you do not want to continue using Kollin in the coming academic year.
If you are in your second or third year, and have paid within the last 30 days, you can request a full refund on your last payment, regardless of plan.
How to get a full refund:
- Contact Kollin's support via support@kollin.io
- Enter your membership number from Engineers of Swedem (you will find it on My pages/Mina sidor).
- Refund is processed within 5 to 10 working days using your chosen payment method.
The discount applies to all Kollin services. On Kollin, you can either purchase individual courses and study plans or subscribe to Kollin Gold for unlimited access to the entire service. You can also choose which subscription period you want to purchase.
The price of Kollin is 99 SEK per month, or 648 SEK per year.
You get a daily quota of free messages with Kollins AI. Any messages beyond this quota cost credits that are not covered by Sveriges Ingenjörer/Engineers of Sweden.
Yes, Kollin works for all Swedish engineering programs. We have materials from KTH, Chalmers, LTH, LiU, among others.
If there are courses or materials missing, you can easily create the course or upload old exams and let KAI, Kollin's AI, sort and categorize its tasks and proposed solutions. Contact Kollin's support if you need help with this.
You can cancel your Kollin subscription at any time in your profile on Kollin. Your access will cease at the end of your subscription period.
No, the free year ends automatically without hidden fees.
