Income insurance
All professionally active members of Engineers of Sweden and the Akademikernas a-kassa unemployment fund have our attractive income insurance protection included automatically in their membership.
If you are a professionally active member of Engineers of Sweden and the Akademikernas a-kassa unemployment fund, you are automatically covered by our generous income insurance. This insurance can provide 80% compensation for a gross monthly salary of up to SEK 100 000 for 150 days if you become unemployed involuntarily.

Supplementary income insurance
You can also choose to add to your income insurance protection with two supplementary insurances.
Our extended period income insurance provides a further 180 days of cover in addition to the standard 150 days included in the insurance through the Swedish Association of Graduate Engineers.

Our higher salary income insurance raises the ceiling in the standard income insurance cover by up to SEK 60 000 per month. This means that, together with your basic unemployment insurance benefit, you can receive compensation for 80% of a gross salary of up to SEK 160 000.
