Are you new in the Swedish labour market and want to know how it works? This seminar gives you a useful overview of information an employee in Sweden needs to know about terms and conditions in the workplace.
This seminar will give you valuable knowledge on how the Swedish labour market works as well as some insights regarding Swedish trade unions.
You will learn more about employment rights, for instance different types of employments and your rights, but also social benefits such as parental leave, pensions, illness and unemployment. We will also dive deeper into the Swedish trade unions and find out what's special about them and why there are so many.
The seminar is led by Friedrich Heger, a labour law specialist working for Engineers of Sweden. He came to Sweden 13 years ago and learned the hard way how the Swedish labour market works. Now he wants to share his experiences and insights with other newcomers, and others as well.
