Workshop and Annual Meeting – Housing for Distance Working

Explore new ways of living and working locally in Dalarna. Join an interactive workshop where we use real local cases to develop ideas for more comfortable, social, and sustainable distance working.

Developed in collaboration with Samarkand2015, The development company for Ludvika and Smedjebacken – working for an innovative, sustainable and attractive Västerbergslagen.

After the workshop, the district Dalarna Annual Meeting will take place – a chance to influence future activities and get involved. We are also looking for new board members – express your interest today!
 
About the workshop
We will work with real local environments and buildings in Ludvika and surrounding areas (for example Aborrberget, Grangärde-Bysjöstrand, or Blötberget) as case studies.

Together, we will:

• Explore how existing buildings can be repurposed for modern living and working
• Generate ideas for shared spaces and new business models
• Discuss how local communities can support distance working
• Bring together different perspectives to inspire future innovation projects

You will work in small groups (4–6 participants), guided by experienced facilitators from Samarkand2015 and Eric Båve, and share your ideas with others.
